2.5” Lens , the perfect solution for those seeking precision cutting of thick materials up to 5/8” (15,875mm) with great tolerance. This lens kit is ideal for situations where clearance and tolerance become an issue, giving an additional 1/2” (12,7mm) clearance over the standard 2.0” lens.

The 2.5” inch lens provides good engraving detail, although not as good as the shorter lenses, it still provides good quality engraving and marking. This lens has a longer focal length, making it excellent for consistent straight edge cutting, while still providing good quality engraving and marking.

With the ability to be interchanged with any other lens, the 2.5” Lens Kit is available on all PLS and VLS platform series systems. It's field up-gradable on supported systems, 1996 and newer.

While the 2.5” Lens Kit is great for thick materials, it does have some limitations. It has lower detailed engraving due to its larger spot size, and it's not recommended for photo engraving. Additionally, it reduces your Z axis (table height) by 1/2” (12,7mm). It's not available for VLS desktop, PLS6MW, ILS and XLS series laser systems.
