F.O.B. Point of Shipment
Once goods leave our facility, the buyer assumes all responsibility for freight charges and the risk of loss or damage during transit. To help mitigate risk, we recommend purchasing shipping insurance. Claims for shipping damage must be submitted to Abernethy Beck within 7 days of receiving the order. If you would like to request additional insurance coverage, please contact us before your order ships.
Shipping Charges
To simplify your checkout experience, shipping charges are now based on flat rates tied to your order value. These rates are designed to be fair, predictable, and easy to understand. The exact shipping cost for your order will be clearly shown at checkout.
Additional fees may still apply for certain delivery situations, such as remote destinations, residential freight deliveries, or those requiring liftgate service. If any such charges apply, we’ll notify you prior to shipment.
Order Processing and Shipping Timeframes
Orders placed on business days (Monday through Friday) are typically processed within 24 hours, provided that the items are in stock and no additional documentation or approvals are required. Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or on holidays will be processed on the next available business day.
While we strive to ship your order as quickly as possible, all shipping and delivery timeframes provided, whether during checkout, by email, or over the phone—are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary depending on factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Carrier delays
- Weather events
- Supply chain disruptions
- Inventory availability
- Order volume during peak seasons
If your order includes backordered or pre-ordered items, we will notify you with the estimated availability date and provide options to hold, split, or cancel your order.
We encourage customers with time-sensitive delivery needs to contact us before placing an order to discuss expedited shipping options or get up-to-date lead times. Abernethy Beck is not liable for any costs incurred due to delays in transit or processing.
Carrier Information
We primarily ship via UPS and USPS. Larger items will be shipped via freight. For freight shipments, the carrier will be selected by Abernethy Beck unless otherwise arranged. The buyer is responsible for unloading freight shipments, inspecting them upon delivery, and reporting any visible damage to both the carrier and Abernethy Beck within 48 hours.
Domestic & International Shipping
We currently ship throughout the United States and offer international shipping for select products. To inquire about international eligibility, costs, and delivery timelines, please contact our customer service team.
International orders are shipped using express courier services (UPS, DHL, or equivalent).
For most international destinations, customs duties, VAT, and import taxes are prepaid or accounted for in the product price and shipping charge at checkout, so customers typically do not incur additional charges upon delivery.
However, customs regulations vary by country, and in rare cases local authorities may assess additional fees, taxes, or documentation requirements beyond our control. Any such charges imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient.
Abernethy Beck makes every reasonable effort to minimize unexpected import charges and to ship international orders in a manner that reduces delays and customs issues.
Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor its progress directly with the carrier.
Insurance Options
Orders are not automatically insured. Insurance is available upon request for an additional fee. If you do not request insurance, you assume responsibility for any loss or damage during shipping. We strongly recommend insuring high-value orders.
Returns and Exchanges

Special Circumstances
In the event of backorders, pre-orders, or supply chain disruptions, we will promptly notify you of any expected delays. You will have the option to cancel, modify, or hold your order until the items become available.
