Electronics and soldering fume extractors

Bench and tip extraction for hand soldering, and a mobile unit with an arm and hood. Each extractor pulls fumes through a pre-filter and a HEPA and carbon main filter.

  • 3 extractors
  • Tip, arm and mobile extraction
  • 115 V

How to choose

Choose a soldering fume extractor

  1. Count the soldering stations.

The T-15 serves up to 15 hand-soldering operators through tip extraction. The V-250 has two 50 mm inlets for two arms.

  2. Choose where you capture the fume.

At the iron tip, with an arm and a nozzle or funnel at the bench, or with the Mobile FumeKart’s arm and hood.

  3. Check the filters.

Each extractor has a pre-filter and a main filter that combines HEPA (99.995% at 0.3 µm) with activated carbon.

  4. Check your site power.

All three extractors run on 115 V. The TCU needs 230 V.

The TCU keeps the solder-paste printing area at a set temperature. It is not a fume extractor; its pre-filter is 1UA1030305.

Soldering extraction questions

Tip extraction or an arm: which do I need?

Tip extraction draws the fume at the soldering iron, so one T-15 can serve up to 15 hand-soldering operators. An arm with a nozzle or funnel captures the fume at the work instead: the V-250 takes two arms, and the Mobile FumeKart has one arm and a hood. Tell us how your benches are laid out and we’ll suggest a setup.

Are ESD-safe arms available?

Yes. ESD versions of the stay-put arms, the cowls and the adjustable iron kit are in the accessory list above.

Does the TCU extract fumes?

No. The TCU keeps the solder-paste printing area at a set temperature, from 66 to 86 °F. It runs on 230 V and takes its own pre-filter, 1UA1030305.

Which filters do these units use?

Each unit’s pre-filter and main filter are listed by part number in the table above, with links to order them. The filter finder lists them by model too.

Can I finance an extractor?

Yes. We work with several equipment-financing partners. See our equipment financing options for details and to get started.

Can I order with a purchase order?

Yes. Schools, labs, government buyers and companies can order on a purchase order. See quotes and purchase orders for how it works.

Extraction advice

Not sure which extractor fits?

Tell us how many soldering stations you have, what you solder and how your benches are laid out. We’ll recommend a unit and the arms to go with it.
