Laser fume extractors

Extractors for laser cutting, engraving and marking, from compact units to high-airflow systems, plus a filtered cooling unit. Each extractor pulls fumes through a pre-filter and a HEPA and carbon main filter.

  • 15 extractors and 1 cooling unit
  • 106 to 1,470 cfm
  • 115 V, 230 V or 208 V 3-phase

How to choose

Choose a laser fume extractor

  1. Start with the machine and materials.

What you cut or engrave decides the filters. Lasering PVC calls for the AD PVC iQ.

  2. Size airflow at pressure.

Datasheets rate airflow under different test conditions, and your hose run and filters lower the airflow you get, so compare pressure (mbar) too. Donaldson recommends the lowest flow that captures the fume.

  3. Count the capture points.

Match the inlet to your laser’s exhaust port and hose.

  4. Check your site power.

    Most units run on 115 V; the AD 1500 iQ needs 230 V single-phase and the AD 2000 iQ 208 V 3-phase.

Do I need a fume extractor, or can I vent outside?

Your laser needs exhaust airflow while it runs. You can vent it outside through ducting with a blower that meets the laser’s exhaust requirement. Where venting outside isn’t possible, a fume extractor filters the air and returns it to the room.

Which extractor fits my laser?

Tell us your laser model, the materials you cut or engrave and how many hours a day it runs. We’ll recommend an extractor and the hose kit to go with it. The table above lists airflow, pressure and inlet size for every unit.

What do the two filters do?

The pre-filter catches the larger particles. The main filter combines HEPA (99.995% or better at 0.3 µm) with activated carbon for gases and odors. The part numbers are in the table above, and the filter finder lists them by model.

What power do these units need?

Most run on 115 V, 60 Hz. The AD 1500 iQ needs 230 V single-phase and the AD 2000 iQ needs 208 V 3-phase.

Can I finance an extractor?

Yes. We work with several equipment-financing partners. See our equipment financing options for details and to get started.

Can I order with a purchase order?

Yes. Schools, labs, government buyers and companies can order on a purchase order. See quotes and purchase orders for how it works.
