The ABI 2.5" focus lens assembly is precision-engineered for direct compatibility with Universal Laser Systems VLS and PLS platforms. This longer focal length lens is purpose-built for cutting thick materials and applications where extra clearance and tolerance are needed — the ideal upgrade when your standard 2.0" lens can't keep up.

What the 2.5" Focal Length Does Best:

The 2.5" (63.5mm) focal length excels at thick, consistent straight-edge cutting of materials up to 5/8" (15.9mm), with capability up to 3/4" (19.5mm) depending on material type. It provides an additional 1/2" (12.7mm) of clearance over the standard 2.0" lens, making it the go-to choice when working with warped, uneven, or thick stock where extra tolerance matters. It also delivers good quality engraving and marking results.
