The 2.5" Lens Kit for Universal Laser Systems is purpose-built for precision cutting of thicker materials with greater clearance and tolerance. The 2.5" (63.5 mm) focal length adds an extra ½" (12.7 mm) of clearance over the standard 2.0" lens — ideal for thick stock, fixtures with vertical features, or parts where lens contamination is a concern. Cuts materials up to 5/8" (15.9 mm) thick with consistent straight edges, while still producing good-quality engraving and marking. Larger spot size means less detail than shorter focal lengths and is not recommended for photo engraving. Reduces Z-axis travel by ½" (12.7 mm). High laser power is typically required for thick cutting.

What's in the kit: 2.5" final focusing lens, #3 mirror (Universal Laser Part #145-0018-00-A), focus tool, and lens plate.
