About the PLS6.150D SuperSpeed
The PLS6.150D SuperSpeed is the PLS6.150D with Universal's SuperSpeed™ option: with two CO₂ lasers installed, it engraves two raster lines at a time. SuperSpeed needs both laser sources, up to 150 W in total (2 × 75 W), at 10.6 or 9.3 µm. The work area is 32 × 18 in with up to 8 in of material height (9 in with the 1.5″ lens). It needs a 220–240V/15A circuit and two 4″ exhaust ports with 500 CFM at 6 in static pressure.

The PLS6.150D SuperSpeed needs exhaust airflow while it runs. You can vent it outside through ducting with a blower that meets this requirement. If you can’t vent outside, use a fume extractor: it filters the air and returns it to the room.

Do I need a fume extractor for the PLS6.150D SuperSpeed?
